8 Simple Ways to Manage Your Anger

Anger can be characterized as a feeling of being agitated by someone or something. This is sometimes when things don't go as planned or someone has wronged you. Anger management is when you are able to control this feeling in the best appropriate manner. Here are simple ways that can help you to manage and control your anger.

  • Walk away
  • Deep breath
  • Jogging
  • Forgiving
  • Listening to music
  • Singing
  • Talking to someone
  • Take a break

Walk away

Walking away from trouble sometimes is the best way. When you feel agitated with someone or something it's of best interest if you walk away from him. This will help you cool down and prevent you from behaving unethically to your will. Some people who fail to control this feeling find themselves in a very difficult situation when they come back to their senses.

Taking a deep breath

When you are filled with anger it's not the best time to act. When anger takes control of you the only thing you crave is to harm someone or revenge so you can feel better,No! This is not what you need. What you need is to come down and have a deep breath. When you take a deep breath you help the blood to regulate the flow of oxygen to your body and to your mind. This will help your mind to calm and cool down and the anger feeling will go away.

Jogging

like walking away, jogging will help you deviate your attention to something else. When you jog your mind will shift attention to it, forgetting or keeping aside the matter that was bothering you. This way will make you cool down and be able to make healthy judgments out of anger. Learning how to control your emotions can make you a good leader and also gain respect from your workmates.

Forgiving

Forgiveness helps you to ease your anger burden. When you forgive it not only helps you forget but also to have peace of mind. Forgiveness also shows the level of your maturity in the position you hold and it means you are capable of handling  issues without fear. This is a good thing as people around you will have trust and respect you since they see you as a leader who understands and cares. Don't take this as being easy though being tough will only pile up your problems rather than solving them.

Listening to music

Though it might sound old school, music is the best medicine for anger. When you listen to music and especially cool music, it helps your mind to relax by soothing them to calm down as you are being carried away by the song. This way the beats of the song helps your mind to relax as you concentrate  to it.

Singing

Similarly to listening to music, when you sing out loudly helps to let the anger out. This way when you shout out loudly you yell the anger out of you, this opens your lungs wide, relaxing your mind and help you to come down.A good anger management control is when you are able to cool yourself down without causing any harm to anybody or destroying anything, This way you are mature enough to take matters on you own hands.

Talking to someone

Speaking out your problems is the best way to let go of things. When you speak to someone you are sharing the burden of holding things up to yourself. When you keep quiet and hold things onto you they eat you slowly and stress will soon kill you out of depression. Always try to share or speak the bad thing out of you as they are like poison, they will kill you slowly with time. There are now public and private councilors who give guidance and counseling to people like you, to help you carry your secrets and this will help you manage your anger.

Take a break

Don't take this as running away from your problems. But this is a way of showing you are ready enough to face your problem professionally. When you take a break to solve your issues it will not only help you make good judgement but it will make you prepared for something like this another time. Resting will only make you see things at the deepest point and make good and mature decisions without rushing and being pressed.

Don't let anger ruin everything you hold so dearly. When you fail to control it, it's like a disease. It will take you down with time unless you find the right medicine to cure it. Being responsible and mature to handle your anger is the best quality you will want to make things learn smoothly and professionally. Don't hurt yourself with anger but instead know how to manage it.

How I Lost $2000 in One Night

It was dated back in 2022. Friday was a day like no other day. I woke up as usual and prepared myself for my daily routine. I took a hot shower.brushed my  teeth and wore my jeans, a baggy T-shirt and a white sport shoe. I was ready to go to work until I received a congratulation message from a lottery company I used to bet on. It was around 10 o'clock. I hurriedly ran to the bus station to catch up with the bus. You could see me jumping and clapping my hands due to happiness. I wanted to go and meet my mother who stays in the upper town and inform her about my victory. She had always condemned me for gabbling ever since I was in college, but now was really my day. In about 20 minutes or so, a bus approached and I waved at it to stop. I boarded and sat next to the driver. He was a fat guy with a protruding belly, Jordan shaved and had very big beards around his face. They were trimmed neatly and a toothpick in his mouth. I was nodding my head to the rhythm of the beats of afr...
